The Hotel Pont Royal Paris

a rare slice of Paris Literary History

Have you seen the movie " Midnight in Paris" yet?

This hotel could very well be the setting for the movie Midnight in Paris, where Owen Wilson plays an American writer who steps back in time to visit Paris in the twenties! This is the true legendary place where Americans tasted Parisian intellectual life!

Between the two World Wars, the Pont Royal bar became one of the top Parisian cocktail bars. The mean-spirited were offended when F. Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda held court here and attracted all the other "Americans in Paris," who introduced delighted Parisians to this new way of drinking.

A favorite bar of authors like Hemingway, Miller and Fitzgerald, but also of painters like Mir, Chagall and Buffet, it was the place where one crossed paths with the Paris of artistic creation.

Are you a foodie? if so, you will be in absolute heaven when you learn about this restaurant at the Pont Royal in Paris

L'atelier de Jol Robuchon

Dining at the hotel is ensured to be the best in Paris France, by the workshop of Jol Robuchon, a famous chef (two-star rating by the Guide Michelin). From the hotel, you can directly access the Robuchon workshop for a true culinary journey. The restaurant takes care of room service for hotel clients and prepares the "dishes" served at the hotel bar for lunch and dinner.

The Signature Bar

The Signature bar is open daily. You can have lunch or dinner there, enjoying a menu designed by the "Atelier" chef. Installed in a comfortable chair, surrounded by mahogany woodwork and under the soft lights of the Club, you can enjoy a drink from eleven in the morning until midnight.

Just like you, many illustrious clients solved the problems of the world here while sipping their favorite beverage until the wee hours. These drinks inspired our cocktails, which pay tribute to their memory. Albert Camus, Boris Vian, Jean-Paul Sartre and Franoise Sagan, among others, celebrated many a memorable evening here.

The Salon Mosaque

The breakfast room opens on a magnificent Japanese garden. It welcomes you to a delicious breakfast with excellent sweet pastries and unusual jams.
