The Owners' wish was to keep the resort as natural and as green as possible. The whole resort was built around the existing vegetation. ABOUT THE ISLAND OF TAHA'A

The island of Taha'a, formerly called Uporu, is located in the Society Islands and shares the same lagoon as the island of Raiatea. Raiatea played a major role in Polynesian migrations throughout the Pacific Ocean and is still an important historical and cultural center, witness of well-alive civilization and traditions.

VANILLA ISLAND - Home of Tahitian Vanilla

 Taha'a is symbolically called the Vanilla Island. It is on these fertile lands that the Tahitian vanilla is cultivated to become one of the best and most fragrant one, sought after by the best Chefs around the world. Tahitian pearls are also produced in Taha'a. A few pearl farms have found their shelter in the island's pure waters.

DINING AT LE TAHA'A RESORT - GOURMET DINING

Le Vanille, the resort's main restaurant, is open for breakfast and dinner. Set high up among the trees, one shall enjoy restful views of the Taha'a lagoon and the property's lush gardens. Le Vanille is the perfect place for a great start to the day with our selection of fresh squeezed juices, delicious danish, muffins, French "pain perdu", tropical fruits, hot and cold buffet. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am to 10:00am.
 
Polynesian Evening, once a week on Tuesdays
 Le Taha'a homage to Polynesian culture and traditions… A buffet featuring Tahitian delicacies, and international options, as a local trio serenades you through the night. Folkloric dances and a not-to-be-missed fire dance will highlight the evening. Fire dance shows can most of the time be seen only at festivals or big events. Tavita, one of the best fire dancers, also known as one of the most tatooed man in French Polynesia, performs at the resort each week ! (please note that the show is weather permitting)

Manuia Bar
 The Manuia Bar is open from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
Located by the La Plage restaurant, the Manuia Bar (and swim up bar) is the ideal place for a nice refreshing cocktail as you lounge by the pool or relax on the beach.
 Lights snacks are served from 3:00pm.

Tehutu Bar
 The Tehutu Bar, open from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
 Adjacent to the Vanille restaurant, the Tehutu Bar is the place to be for evening cocktails, with an exhaustive choice of cocktails and drinks as well as the tapas selection from the Chef !
